BIOMAY IS a Vienna based biotech company and the hub of an Austrian allergy research and development network. Scientists at the Medical University of Vienna and the University of Salzburg – the two most important network partners – have been pursuing RESEARCH FOR BETTER ALLERGY THERAPEUTICS AND DIAGNOSTICS for over 20 years. The network is playing a leading role in researching, developing, applying and distributing recombinant allergens and other innovative approaches to develop significantly improved allergy vaccines.

BIOMAY´s STRENGTH is its proprietary technology platform and its strong product pipeline. Molecules from this platform have successfully passed phase II clinical trials for allergy vaccines. Biomay also offers GMP contract manufacturing services for pre-clinical development and clinical trial material. The production facility is certified for manufacturing of microbial-based biopharmaceuticals such as recombinant proteins and plasmid DNA.

BIOMAY´s GOAL is to commercialize the extensive know-how and intellectual property created by the scientific network. Biomay is seeking partners with the capability to utilize the full strength of this platform, to develop and market a range of highly innovative allergy therapy products. The ultimate goal is to develop technologies suitable for prophylactic allergy vaccination.
