Biomay Recruits Ursula Baumgartner as Quality Manager (Jan. 2007)

Biomay recruits Dr. Ursula Baumgartner as Quality Manager, who will be responsible for the establishment of a GMP-compliant quality system. She will manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control units at Biomay.
Dr Baumgartner received her PhD in biochemistry from the University of Vienna.
She started her professional career at Baxter AG in Vienna, where she held several responsibilities in the QC units of Plasma Control and Molecular Biology and Serology. She has years of expertise in immunological assay development, establishment of QC systems and the implementation of regulatory guidelines.
“Dr. Baumgartner offers  the right scientific and industrial background which will be highly important for Biomay to achieve its  quality policy,” notes Max Bayerl, CEO of Biomay.
