Hans Huber new Head of Production at Biomay (June 2008)

Biomay announces that Dr. Hans Huber joins the Management Team as Head of GMP Production. He will be responsible for GMP manufacture, production development and process science.

Formerly, Hans Huber has been working at Boehringer Ingelheim RCV (Vienna)
in various positions in the Business Center Biopharmaceutical Production (Head of Process Science Fermentation; Technology and Innovation Manager).

Hans Huber holds a PhD in biotechnology from the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences (BOKU) in Vienna. He is an expert in the field of recombinant protein production with microbial expression systems. At Boehringer Ingelheim, he significantly contributed to the development of the proprietary plasmid DNA production platform. Furthermore, he contributed to several patents applications in the field of bioprocessing.
