BIOMAY´s know-how in production of highly pure recombinant allergens for the research and diagnostics market is based on more than 20 years of experience.

Typically, the production process involves:

• Fermentation of transgenic E.coli (10 litre)

• Isolation and purification of the recombinant allergens

• Characterization of isolated proteins

Presently, production and marketing activities are performed under a Quality Management System according to EN ISO 9001:2000. BIOMAY is setting up a small facility for GMP production of recombinant allergens.
